“The Most Accessible Congressional Debate Camp in the Country”
In case you can’t make it to Ascend California or Ascend Florida, the Ascend Online Congressional Debate program is designed as an online alternative to the in-person experience! We take our in-person curriculum and make sure that you have the opportunity to learn it online.
Within Ascend Online, you’ll be placed into labs that reflect your skill level where you receive different skill-based lectures and participate in drills. Outside of lab instruction, there will be mock rounds for you to show off your skills, topic lectures and guest lectures from the best coaches in the country, and office hours where you can get all of your questions answered!

What Events Can I Do?
Ascend Online only offers Congressional Debate. Congress is Ascend’s bread and butter. If you’re looking for a camp to teach you interpretation or policy debate, we’ll be honest that you should look elsewhere. However, if you want to be the best in Congressional Debate, we should be your one stop shop.
Does Ascend Offer Refunds?
Due to costs that we incur prior to the summer beginning in preparation for your camp experience, we are unable to offer refunds at this time. We’re confident that you will have a first-class experience with us this summer.
How Can I Pay?
Our preferred payment method is online through a credit or debit card. However, if you’d like to avoid the transaction fee, we will also accept Zelle (preferred) and personal checks. Please email info@ascendspeech.org for further details.
What if I Already Did Ascend?
Students can participate in Ascend Online as many years as they would like. Our curriculum is updated frequently and sessions are personalized to your current skill level, so you will have a new experience each time!

Does Ascend Offer Financial Aid?
Yes! We believe financial need should never be a barrier to education. Please contact info@ascendspeech.org for further information on financial aid eligibility. We also offer payment plans over a multi-month period.
What Grades Can Do Ascend?
Students entering 7th through 12th grade can participate in Ascend, including Ascend Online. Our coaches are able to tailor the learning experience for students of different ages who are each at different stages of their educational experiences.
